Gayus' Prison Transfer No Problem For Lawyers

Gayus H. Tambunan, said that they would not experience any problems if the judges at the South Jakarta District Court decided to transfer him from his current detention center.

Gayus is currently detained at the Kelapa Dua Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters penitentiary where he slipped out of several weeks ago.

“We have no problem wherever he may be transferred to,” Pia Nasution, a member of Gayus' defense team, said on Saturday.

She added that a transfer would neither stop the defense team from visiting Gayus nor hinder the court process.

“There will be no problem as long as his [Gayus'] rights are protected,” she added, as quoted from kompas.com.
